Arts Alliance Africa seeks applications from interested and qualified candidates for recruitment into Administrative and Creative Art job vacancies.
Arts Alliance Africa is a nonprofit theatrical organization that uses performing arts to propel positive social change in Africa. Built on the principles of Theatre for Development [TfD], it conducts dance, drama and musical programmes that stir positive attitude change, especially among young persons in Nigeria and Ghana.
Since its inception, Arts Alliance Africa has executed well over 16 local programmes, including campaigns on combating child abuse, HIV/AIDS stigmatization, domestic violence, drug and substance abuse, etc. Presently, the theatrical organization, besides conducting its regular campaigns, is planning to organize an international artsfestival in 2013.
Arts Alliance Africa, in partnership with Palmas International, Italy, Educational Theatre Association, Ohio, and the Cripple Creek Theatre Company, Louisiana is planning an enormous expansion of its campaign projects on an international scale. It is also planning to organize an international artsand cultural festival in January 2013.
In line with this development, the organisation seeks suitable and qualified candidates for the following work positions:

Education and Experience for Administrative Positions:
*. Bachelor’s Degree/Higher Diploma from a recognized tertiary institution, and at least one-year related experience and/or training.
*. Proven expertise in dealingwith senior leadership in support role and with all levels of personnel in courteous and efficient manner.
Skills and Abilities:
*. Good computer skills [MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.]
*. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communicationskills.
*. Must be able to communicateeffectively and professionally with external contacts or employees of Arts Alliance Africa.

*. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree/Higher National Diploma in the Arts or Social Sciences from a recognized university/polytechnic.
*. Academic and professional qualifications within theatre,dramaturgy, arts administration, or related field of study are highly preferable.
*. Candidates must also possess extensive experience as an artist andin managing a theatre or performing arts group.
Skills and Abilities
*. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
*. Cooperative management ability
*. Must be able to communicateeffectively and professionally with performers, external contacts or employees of Arts Alliance Africa.
