Ahmadu Bello University ABU, Zaria, Admission Into B. Sc Agricultural Extenssion Degree Programme For Service (Mid-Career) Extension Workers 2011/2012 Academic Session
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into a new Bachelor of Science Degree Programme in Agricultural Extension for 2012 / 2013 academic session.
A.) The Programme:
1. The programme is specifically designed for already serving midcareer Agriculture Extension Worker only.
2. Students admitted into the programme are required to spend 3 years, which will cover on-campus training and off-campus Supervised Enterprise Projects (SEPs).
B.) Admission Requirements:
1. The candidates must be serving extension worker with at least 2 years of post - HND field experience, and must be recommended for the training by his/her employer.
2. The candidate must possess a minimum of credit/merit pass at HND in Agriculture or related fied of study from a recognised institution.
3. The candidate must possess four (4) "O" Level passes at credit level which should include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology or Geography.
C.) Method of Application:
Application forms are obtainable online on ABU WEBSITE upon payment of a non-refundable application fee of (N2,200) only to ABU Microfinance Bank.
Please note that date of obtaining and submission of application ends by 15th of July, 2012.
