SFH is a leading public health non governmental organisation in Nigeria, implementing programmes in reproductive health HIV/AIDS prevention, and maternal andchild health. SFH works in partnership with the Federal and states Governments of Nigeria, the British department for international development (DFID) and USAIDamong other international donors. SFH requires candidates for the following posts:


1. SENIOR MANAGER, FINANCE (ABUJA) Email: snrmgrfin@sfhnigeria.org
RESPONSIBILITIES: – report tothe director – finance and accounts – prepare reports balance sheets, income and expenditure, sales reports etc. And also ensure review of financial reports from SFH territorial offices and prepare summary reports on corrective actions and circulate after review. – ensure compliance with statutory and other obligations remittances, PAYE, withholding tax, staff pension, mortgages, NHF, staff cooperative, severanceand credit notes from FIRS and send to vendors – conduct monthly bank reconciliation of financial transactions and resolve all un cleared effects, will also ensure financial reports are printed and duly signed by the managing director and chief financial officer – initiate support for SFH internal audit to ensure timely conclusion and issuance of clean reports, prepare computations for taxauditors, answer tax audit queries and follow up with the various revenue boards at states and federal level
REQUIREMENTS – first degreeor its equivalent in accounting, banking and finance or business administration with at least 8 years post NYSC working experience of which 4 years must be in senior management level handling and taking decisions on strategic financial matters in a multinational organisation or an international NGO – must have professional certification of ICAN or ACCA and masters degree in accounting, finance, businessadministration or general management will be added advantage – proficiency in allaspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent financial standards, rules and regulations relation to good financial management – must be of good character with proven impeccable integrity

RESPONSIBILITIES: – report tothe territories manager – proper application of SfH and donor policies in handling of finances of all projects in SFHproject offices and ensure the efficient management finances and also ensure adequate records are kept safely and in an easily retrievable manner – send financial reports to headquarters, assist in †?? drawing up of project budgets and monitor and record variances – reconcile all staff accounts and produce an ageing report, analyse retirements to ensure that correcy approvals and support documents comply with SFH policies – maintain staff files at all territories and project offices, update fixed assets registers and send admin/fleet reports of the territories and project office monthly to the territorial manager

REQUIREMENTS – BSC/HND in accounts or any related fields with at least 3 years post NYSC working experience and ACA will be added advantage – experience working at intermediate level with NGO will also be an added advantage – strong understanding of accounting packages, quickbooks, SAP –excellent planning, organisational, skills are essential – ability to work with minimal supervision with high level of integrity and responsibility

3. SENIOR OFFICER, PROGRAMME (GATE PROJECTS)– GOMBE Email; fomwanpogates@sfhnigeria.org
RESPONSIBILITIES – Report tothe gates project manager – conduct of advocacy visit to local governments areas andthe federation of muslim women association of Nigeria chapters and the coorinating of FOMWAN volunteers in LGA, wards and communities – carry out identification and selection of FOMWAN volunteers and ensure the ontinous update of the volunteer list and also conduct open community meetings and provide feedback to community members and stakeholders –contribute to the development of IEC materials/job aids for volunteers and communities and also conduct and partiipate in the training of allvolunteers in LGA and also ensure that all volunteers have required tools for service delivery – monitor the implementation of services at home and ensureimplementation of quarterly review meetings among FOMWAN, SFH and volunteers – work together with project manager on advocacy visits in collaboration with relevant government aencies such as ministry of health, ministry ofwomen affairs and LGA and
religious leader
REQUIREMENTS – a registered nurse/midwife anda degree in nursing will be anadvantage with at least 3 years experience in a health facility as apractiing midwife – ability to write and speak hausa fluently is very essential and ability to work with minimal supervision – high level pf integrity, excellent interpersonal, planning and organisational skills with experience in supervising a civil soiety organisation will be a plus – cognate skills in computer appreciation and knowledge of community immunisation techniques is essential
4. SENIOR OFFICER, MONITORING AND EVALUATION(EXPANDED SOCIAL MARKETING PROJECT IN NIGERIA - ESMPIN) – SOKOTOEMAIL: somesok@sfhnigeria.org
RESPONSIBILITIES – Report todeputy manager M&E – ensure that routine tracking, data collection and documentation are utilised to showcase progress on success of the project indicators and interventions and ensure that data collected from state level implementation are collated and entered expeditiously in the web based DHIS and summaries incluse in all field activity quarterly report submissions – oversee the tracking, analysing and reporting of data on the various components of the ESMOIN project and implementthe projects performance management plan which includes participating in studies, surveys and all related data and information collecting activities for the project – collate data and conduct monitoring visits to the project sites in the relevant states in the supervisory region will be a key deliverable for this post and build capacity of SFH project partner organisations, CSO/CBO AND other stakeholders to implement M&E
REQUIREMENTS – first degreein sciences/medical/behavioural/social sciences or its equivalent discipline with at least 3 years experience in implementing monitoring and evaluation of health programmes – expertise in mixed methods qualitative and quantitative M&E and research with abilityyo analyse and interpret both quantitative and qualitative data to inform programming – intermiate knowledge of SPSS or STATA or epi info/CS pro is requiresand experience ith conducting monitoring visits utilising checklist and other tools including ability to develop tools required for this post and knowledge of DHIS, MS ACCESS or other compatible database softwarewill be added advantage
5. SENIOR OFFICER, GF HIV (HCT FOCAL PERSON) – KADUNA
RESPONSIBILITIES – report to the manager-global fund (GF)– provide administrative, technical and logistics support and assist in coordinating the implementation of GF-HIV counselling and testing activities in the teritory and ensure compliance to nationalguidelines and international (WHO) standards in the provision of counselling and testing services – participatein the implementation of health system strengthening activities including manpower development and training of health personnel for HIV/AIDSprevention, treatment, care and support programmes andwill work with the manager HCT to provide support in working with the reaserch and evaluation division to manage data collection of HCTactivities from all service delivery points across healthfacilities in the territory – provide support to ensure the availabilty of national HCT tools for data collection ans retrieval at the various health facilities and work withpartners to procure and istribute health commodities and assure quality product and testing process – provide support in ensuring timely submission of quality report on HIV counselling andtesting to global fund on monthly and quarterly bases respectively and work with the manager HCT to provide support in the development of budgets and work plans for all GF-HIV activities

RESPONSIBILITIES – Report tomanager north global fund malaria – develop and maintain appropritae relationship with MDS and selected health facilities and the supply of health ommodities to these facilities and conduct regular site management through monitoring and technical inputs for quality assurance and integrity in delivery – ensure the collation of appropriate data from health facilities an CBOs and submit to the head quarters throughthe territotial manager and assist the training consultantin provision of quality assurance for training to predefined standards – coordinate the mapping of health facilities across all local government areas in the state and work with the state ministry of health to identify key policy thrusts to inform SFH programmes design in the states – identify appropriate CBOs to work with in coordinatin community level monitoring ofhealth providers

RESPONSIBILITIES – report to the senior manager procurement – process all prourement request from user department and ensure timely delivery of requests and raise request quote, coordinate bid opening sessions and evaluate quotes in line with solicitationcriteria – coorinate all procurements related to global fund malaria, gates, enhancing nigeria response to HIV/AIDS projects ad firld operations divisions and ensure all process documents are properly worded and all necessary supporting documents are duly attached and complete –monitor delivery of goods to warehouse and relay status to appropriate user department and evaluate vendors based on performance on each job order and provide a monthly report of all activities and ensure compliance with SFH procurement policy and procudeures
REQUIREMENTS – first degreein nay management or social scients with at least 3 years experience of which 1 yers ina similar role and possesion of professional qualification will be added advantage – proven experience and strong skills in procurement management and administration with high level of integrity and good interpersonal skills – computer literate with high proficiency in the MS office suites and hands on experience of the required scope of the needed work environment and the attendant equipment necessary for the job and knowledge of SAP will be a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES – report to gates project manager – develop and submit databaseof common complaints ailments of pregnancy, childbirth and that of the newborn and proffer common solution to thses issues and conduct spot checks of linkages and referals between the community healthworkers and emergency transport scheme volunteer drivers – conduct quality checks on messages provided to callers and leadthe development of monitoring and evaluation officers and ensure the collation of all monthly reports to be submitted to the project manager – participate in quarterly review meetings, conduct callcentre meetings and send minutes to the project manager
