Internship Program
FHI 360 is committed to the professional development of students and recent graduates interested in working in the various sectors represented at FHI 360. The purpose of the Internship Program is to provide future professionals with an opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to FHI 360’s mission and scope of work through working on projects in reproductive health and family planning, HIV/AIDS prevention and care, economic development, civil society, domestic and international education, and social and behavioral change.
FHI 360’s Internship Program offers interns a dynamic learning environment in orderto attain and develop the skills necessary for job placement and advancement and allows interns the opportunity to build relationships with professionals in their areas of interest. The program alsoincreases the organization's exposure in the academic communities while FHI 360 benefits from the interns' contributing efforts.
The purpose of these guidelines is to outline the overall processes and procedures for FHI 360’s Internship Program, from the requisition to the program evaluation stage.
The Internship Program’s structure helps the intern understand the responsibility they are about to assume with FHI 360 and the supervisor realizes the benefit of having an intern in their Department, for both their work team and for FHI 360 as a whole. FHI 360’s Internship Program mission and vision are as follow:
