Three Reasons Why Students Loose Admission from JAMB Online Applications
It is said and has been proven that admission success/failure start from application. While this statement is applicable to O level and post UTME application, JAMB application is the most determinant of admission.
Many would-be students fumble their way through application for JAMB without considering the factors thatcontribute to success in admission. For instance, in the choice of universities, there are six factors to consider. These factors when put into consideration are supposed to affect mode of preparation. But because most students do not consider them they loose the admission even before writing the JAMB examination. These factors include cut-off mark, NUC admission policies, catchment area, university carrying capacity, ELPS among others.
Besides choice of university, choice of courseis another factor that has denied millions of students admission over the years. From experience, I noticed that students make the same mistake every year with respect to choice of course when applying for JAMB and post UTME. Thereare three factors to consider when choosing thecourse to apply for. These factors can determine whether you will be in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd batch of admission or whether you will not be admitted at all. Failure to put these factors into consideration means you have lost the admissionduring application. The factors include cut-off mark, number of applicants among others.
Another reason why students loose admission from JAMB application is wrong combination of UTME subjects. This is especially painful because in most cases, such students wouldhave been admitted already. There are three factors to consider when choosing UTME subjects. This is especially important for non-medical courses. These factors will give you an edge over others especially when you do not fall in the merit list.
I know many of you will say this information is coming late because they have already applied for JAMB. The truth is you can still make correction now if you have the right orientation. For instance, you can still make changes to your choice of UTME subjects. Besides, after JAMB examination, you can still make changes to choice of course and institution.
In other to make necessary changes to your application – before and after JAMB exam – hence boosting your chance of admission we are introducing the University Admission Bible.
The book is an “A – Z Admission Guide” into Nigeria universities. This book addresses the factorsthat contribute to admissionfailure/success into Nigerian universities from application for O Level examination to post UTME. The book identifies and analyzes solutions to the major causes of admission failure into Nigeria Universities. The book provides direction on numerous alternative methods of admission besides UTME. This book is a must for all candidates seeking admission in 2012/2013 session.
In the book, you will see detail explanation of six factors to consider when choosing your institution or when doing change of institution. You will also learn detail information on three factors to consider for chioce of UTME subjects. In addition, you will also learn three reasons why you may need to do change of course/institution after JAMB exam. There is also A-Z information on post UTME that you need to consider when applying and preparing for JAMB.
